The practice, founded by Dr. Clark Julius in 1971, noticed a growing demand for skin care services in a safe environment with licensed health care providers. In 1998, Knoxville Dermatology Group began providing skin rejuvenation and laser treatments. The success at Knoxville Dermatology Group and patient enthusiasm for these services prompted them to open Medi-Spa in 2005 which offers a full range of traditional spa and medical day spa services for men and women.
In 2010, Medi-Spa at Knoxville Dermatology Group opened a second location in Sevierville at the LeConte Medical Center. Patients receive cosmetic treatments and non-surgical rejuvenation procedures in a safe, relaxing environment overseen by Board Certified Dermatologists. The upscale facilities are only a few steps from the dermatology practice.
